The Dullahan is a legendary monster from Celtic folklore, and is more commonly known as the “headless horseman.”
He is the harbinger of death and sometimes throws buckets of blood at people.
I invite you to make raspberry noises with me!
For those who don’t know, I am super into the computer game Minecraft. Specifically the multiplayer server I play on, WoodenAxe. I’ve painted portraits of some of the usual members through its video chat feature, which was a total blast. Now the portraits are going to good use as decoration for custom WoodenAxe mugs, mainly as a prize for a building competition the server admin, Matt, is holding.

I kinda want one myself now, and maybe some as sellable merchandise!
Below are some items I have thought about creating.
Yesssssssss.
doodlebender now has its very own fail ferret – look at this adorable guy!
You better hope you don’t see him again (besides in this blogpost).
The Rare Candy gallery and auction was a hit! I don’t have many pictures of gallery opening reception to show besides the following few, and I was a bit late to the party so there aren’t as many people in them. It was crazy packed in the first hour though.

Fun times!
The auction has ended as of May 15th, and pieces are being paid for, packed, and shipped. It’s taking a lot longer than we expected it to, so if you have any concerns about where your piece is, you can contact me or Peter (at [email protected]), or just take a peek at these epic packing scenes happening right now:
Gonna be packing all weekend long!
Some friends have been organizing this Pokemon art gallery for the past few months now and I’m proud to say that it is officially happening! The gallery show is called Rare Candy: A Pokemon Gallery & Art Auction for Charity and will be showing from April 29th to May 17th at Umpqua Bank in San Jose. Opening reception will be at 7:00PM on May 3rd. More details at the Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/355490451219846/
The pieces will be auctioned off and all proceeds will go to non-profit organization Canines for Disabled Kids: http://caninesforkids.org/.
I will be there, and so will the other talented artists. I’ve seen a number of the other entries and I am so blown away by just how good and creative everyone got with their Pokemon. If you look 3 blog posts below this one you’ll see my submission, but here it is framed and decorated (sorry, my sleepy face managed to creep in, hope it doesn’t scare you):
So excited!
Looking forward to this event.
